Amazing Slab is a font family conceived by Francesco Canovaro and Andrea Tartarelli as an extension of the Amazing Grotesk family originally crafted by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini. This typeface merges the stately attributes of an Egyptian serif with a low-contrast aesthetic, incorporating the graceful curves and open forms of humanist sans grotesques. Its creation was driven by a desire to capture the dynamic and approachable essence of the startup world—a spirit brimming with innovation, information, and vitality, all while embracing simplicity and direct communication.
