Back to 1982, by Jakob Fischer (Pizza Dude), is a chunky pixel font built from hollow, outlined blocks that look like they were rendered on an old CRT arcade monitor. It is unicase, so lowercase letters simply repeat the same blocky capital shapes, keeping the whole alphabet consistent and easy to read at small pixel-perfect sizes.
The hollow centers give every letter a bit of depth without losing that unmistakable early-80s video game feel, and the numbers and symbols carry the same pixel-block construction as the letters.
